Introduction
Joel graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws in 2012 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Republic of Singapore in February 2014. Joel’s early years in practice had been centred on construction and property law. He has represented developers, architects and contractors in a diverse range of matters that have come before adjudicators under the Building and Construction Security of Payments Act, the Strata Titles Board, arbitrators under the Singapore Institute of Architects, and also the Supreme Court. While Joel maintains a penchant for building and construction law, his practice has since diversified, and represents clients in a wide range of commercial matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

Joel maintains a keen interest in International Affairs, having spent time serving as a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
